The vision of the Albanian Church Planters is to see an Albanian missionary movement for planting churches in unreached nations. They are working to call, train, and send Albanian believers to the mission field and especially into the Muslim world.

Von & Sue Golder

Von and Sue Golder are Frontiers missionaries serving in Albania. They work as church planters and are committed to seeing a church planted in every village and city in Albania. Von pastors the Disciples of Jesus church in the capital city, Tirana, and oversees other church planting efforts in Albania and one in Kosova. He also hopes to begin church planter training schools once a Worship and Ministry Center is built.

Steve & Faith Leach

Steve & Faith Leach work to administer the 14-bed Hospital Evangelique de Bombardopolis in Haiti which provides medical help to 40,000 people in the surrounding rugged mountain area. The IMF hospital offers general consultations, OBGYN services, and a vaccination program, as well as a pharmacy and laboratory.

Mission Possible has a diverse ministry through church planting, children's ministries and drug rehabilitation, educational training and literature distribution. Ivo is director of Mission Possible which operates in several countries. Most of our involvement has been in Russia with street children and drug rehabilitation.

A member of OLCC since her days in youth group, Gretchen went to Albania in the fall of 2002 to work at GDQ School in Tirana, Albania, which is a school for missionary children. She spends time volunteering with the youth in an Albanian church and ministry to the homeless.

Austin & Beverly began ministry in Albania in May of 2005. They are focusing primarily on training national pastors & church leaders through teaching & mentoring students at the Center for Christian Leadership in Tirana.

Bill & Wanda Perrow

The Open Arms Foundation is a ministry directed primarily at children between the ages of three and 12 who are living and sleeping on the streets of Medellin, Colombia. The program's goal is to meet basic survival needs, evangelize, disciple, educate, train with a job skill and place in Christian homes.

   

DabneysRCA- Albania

Jack & Susan Dabney

After 23 years of praying for Albania and several short-term trips there, God has established Jack and Susan Dabney in Albania. Jack provides pastoral leadership to a new English-speaking congregation. Susan Ministers to prisoners and Gypsy Roma chidlren. Both Susan and Jack mentor national pastors and wives.

Paul is the chief medical officer at the American Mission Hospital in Bahrain. Paul and Rebecca were appointed missionaries of the RCA in 1988. The Armerding's work is to establish a Christian presence among the Muslim community at this historical facility.

Eric & Nancy Titus

Eric and Nancy Titus are working to revitalize congregations in South Central Europe. Eric will teach seminary students and work with church leaders to explore and help implement new models of ministry. Nancy will coach seminary students in writing English and edit seminary publications.

 

HarrisonsRCA- Bahrain

Jim & Beth Harrison

Jim and Beth Harrison, RCA missionaries, are moving from their former ministry in Estonia to Bahrain, where Jim will pastor the English language congregation established in the 1890s. He will take  on the responsibilities of the current pastor who is retirining in the fall of 2010.

 

FordsRCA- Ethiopia

Peter & Patty Ford

Peter teaches Christian-Muslim relations at the Mekane Yesus Seminary in the capitol of Ethiopia. He has developed a specialty in this area and the church is anxious for students to understand Islam so that they can reach out in this war-torn country with Christian love.

 

RoghairRCA- Japan

Cornelia Roghair

After teaching at Towanomori San'ai High School for 22 years, Cornelia began working with children at the Nopporo Church preschool in April of 2006. In addition to her ministry with young children, she has begun a youth gathering for high shcool and college students.

 

HoekstraTalking Bible International

Mark Hoekstra

TBI distributes Scripture cassettes in many different languages throughout the world. Their goal is to enable people who cannot read to have Scripture in their own language. TBI records and provides Talking Bibles for nonreaders in many languages.

 

EarlsWycliffe Bible Translators

Bob & Katy Earl

Wycliffe Bible Translators are trained in linguistics, often living in difficult and dangerous cultures to familiarize themselves with the language, then translate the Scripture. Bob and Katy have lived 45 years in southern Mexico, working with four different language groups, the Rincon Zapotec, Tabaa Zapotec, South Rincon Zapotec and Yatee Zapotec.
