Wyndi Bradley From 1992-1995, I served as the Director of the Women's Connection at Our Lord's. I found that I especially enjoyed working with the families with young children. I started my career with the King’s Gate Community Life Center in 1996 when I became the Director of the Super Summer Program, then in 1997 I became the Mother's Day Out Director. In August of 2003, I became the director of King's Gate Christian School. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma where I also completed my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. My wonderful husband Bryan and I have been married since 1986. Our daughter Hannah is a sophomore in college and is a great joy to us. The only thing I look forward to more than being with my family is being here with the children, families and staff. I have admired King's Gate for the way the staff loves and respects children since my own daughter attended here as a preschooler. The King’s Gate, Mother’s Day Out and Super Summer staff members believe, as I do, that all children are a gift from God. It is a privilege to be part of such a gifted and loving staff and to know the families and children. I am convinced more than ever that King's Gate is an exceptional place where staff and families work together to give each child the best start possible. |

Sarah Butler I began teaching at King’s Gate in 2002. I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood and my Masters in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum. In 2000 I married my best friend of 12 years, Doug. We lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for three-and-a-half years, but returned to Oklahoma City to be close to family. My husband, Doug and I have 3 sons. Luke is 5 years old, Thad is 3 and Beau is a baby. They are the joy of our lives. I love teaching in a school where the families, teachers and church all work together to provide the most valuable Christian education for children. I thank God everyday for allowing me to be near my family and for giving me the opportunity to have a job that I love. I truly enjoy coming to school every day! |

I have been at King's Gate as a mom for 7 years and as a science teacher since 2001. I received my undergraduate degree at Lewis and Clark College in biology. For the next 6 years I worked as a wildlife biologist in the rainforests of Hawaii and the oceans of Alaska and Canada. I got my graduate degree from UMASS-Amherst where I did research on the Piping Plover along the barrier beach systems of Cape Cod, MA. For the next 6 years, I worked as the endangered species biologist for the state of Maryland and taught conservation biology at John Hopkins University. I married my best pal in college, Tim Gillum, and we have 3 children; Trevor-18, Haley-14, and Jack-10. King's Gate truly has impacted our family deeply. It was only through King's Gate leadership and staff that Tim and I were able to find and stay on the right track for Haley who has special learning differences. God truly brought the opportunity to me for teaching science here at King's Gate. I am finally able to teach science from a creation perspective and highlight so many of the truly amazing things in our world, giving God all the glory. I never imagined the depth of understanding that these kids would gain. I have been so blessed by passing these biblical messages on through God's creation. |

Michelle Johnson I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After graduating, I followed God's call to move to Moscow, Russia to teach English for two years. When I returned to Oklahoma City, I began teaching Kindergarten in the Putnam City district. During my two years with Putnam city, I met and fell in love with a wonderful man, Brian Johnson. We were married in June of 2006 and are living in Edmond. We are currently taking on a big project to remodel our new home. I am thankful that the Lord led me to begin a new journey teaching at King's Gate in 2006. I continue to look forward to all the great things God has in store for the King’s Gate Kindergarten children. I know that the children who enter King's Gate will leave with quality education and a genuine experience of Christ's love. I consider it a privilege to work at such an amazing place. |

Reida Walker I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1991 with a degree in Music Education. After teaching Junior High choral music in a public school setting for 10 years I decided I needed more time with my family wonderful husband, Danny and precious daughters, 10-year-old Emily and 4-year-old Olivia. In 2004 God made it very clear that I should begin this amazing new adventure at King’s Gate, and I am thrilled to be free to share my Christian faith through music. What a difference from public school! Working with the children at King’s Gate is inspirational, deeply rewarding, and just plain fun! |

Regena Randall I know the Lord led me to King’s Gate Christian School in 1997. I enjoy my time here with the children, their family members, the other teachers, and the staff of Our Lord's. I have also enjoyed having the permanent, part-time position because it has allowed me to spend more time with my family and our identical twin grandsons and my granddaughter. Before coming to King’s Gate, I taught for nine years. I received my degree in education from B.N.C. before it became Southern Nazarene University. I definitely believe in the value of Christian education from pre-school through college and beyond. |

Jillian Cutter I am a missionary kid and spent most of my childhood overseas in Zimbabwe and in Russia. We moved back to the United States when my youngest brother was born with health problems. We have lived in Oklahoma City since that time and I graduated from Westmoore High School. My second favorite thing to do (after teaching) is to sing! I have been involved in choirs since second grade and plan on trying out for Canterbury Choral Society in the fall. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in December of 2007, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Bible. I love working with kiddos more than anything else I can think of. I stumbled upon a job at King's Gate while working with the two year olds in the MDO program. I immediately fell in love with King's Gate and everything it has to offer. The staff is amazing and I cannot wait to begin my first year of teaching full time in a classroom! I really look forward to working with your children and creating a fun and inviting classroom for them to learn and build relationships! |

Chaning Buchanan I grew up right here in Oklahoma City, with my parents and two older brothers. I am truly blessed to be part of a very close family. I was a competitive gymnast through most of my childhood and then became a cheerleader in high school and college. My goal has always been to someday work with children and make a difference in their lives. Following many prayers, the Lord led me to King’s Gate. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Family Life Education-Child Development. I am excited to have the opportunity to fulfill my goals of working with children here at King’s Gate. The staff and families are wonderful, and everything King’s Gate stands for is amazing. I feel that the Lord has truly blessed me with a wonderful family, unbelievable children and families to serve, and great friends to work beside. |

Joy Morrell I first started working at OLCC in the M.D.O. program in the fall of 2000. I felt a calling to leave my job of 17 years and began working at King’s Gate full time in the fall of 2006. I have the privilege of getting to know all the children and families who participate in Extended Day and the Stay & Play programs. Working at King’s Gate is a real blessing. I feel my true family is here at Kings Gate. In my free time I enjoy being involved in church, walking and traveling to visit my family. |

Helen Hernstrom The Lord has been very generous in my life. He has also given me the desire to grow and share my knowledge of art with anyone willing to learn. I have had the opportunity to teach art and painting to ages all the way up to the college level. But it was the eager and expressive minds of my younger students that really cultivated my love for education. I have studied fine art both at Northern Illinois University and at the Figge Art Museum. I contributed to the painting of a mural which is displayed in the permanent gallery of the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa. I have also spent much of my free time gaining experience as a volunteer art teacher through the Figge Art Museum. I moved to Oklahoma from Illinois so that I could follow God's perfect will by marrying my beloved fiancé, John. Little did I know that my Savior's plan would lead me to such a wonderful school, filled with the most lovely students, staff, and families that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. |
