MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a quality Christian early education experience for children while partnering with parents to provide each child with the best start possible.

KING’S GATE PHILOSOPHY
At King’s Gate we believe your child deserves the best start possible. We believe in trusting children’s natural abilities, and encourage learning in a way that nurtures a child’s innate drive for purpose and competence. We offer the developmental approach to learning, and our qualified teachers use a wide range of teaching methods and age-appropriate materials in a multi-sensory environment for learning.

STATEMENT OF FAITH AND CHRISTIAN EMPHASIS
We believe that the Bible is the true and inspired Word of God.

Biblical teaching, values and principles are integrated into all subjects, daily school activities, and experiences. They are allowed the freedom to incorporate God’s wisdom in their daily teaching.

ACCREDITATION
King's Gate is fully accredited by the Oklahoma Private School Accrediting Commission (OPSAC), the National Academy for Early Childhood Programs (NAEYC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), following a rigorous preparatory and evaluative process. The evaluative process scrutinizes the following areas: philosophy/policy making body, administration, personnel, curriculum, nutrition and food services, physical environment, health and safety, and family and community services. Accreditation status ensures that a specialized outside team validates the integrity and quality of its program and that King's Gate has achieved standards higher than the state minimum licensing requirements. We offer a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of young children. The primary goal for accreditation is to provide children with an optimum environment to grow, develop and learn.

While many other schools and programs are accredited, King’s Gate Christian School has successfully maintained state, national, and international accreditations. OPSAC, NAEYC and ACSI continue to assess and validate the credibility and integrity of King’s Gate Christian School. King's Gate is exempt from state licensing through the Department of Human Services, as we are regulated through multiple accrediting organizations including OPSAC. OPSAC enables us to be regulated in like manner as public schools and accreditation with ACSI and NAEYC provide assurance to families that we are providing the highest quality early education possible. In addition, the staff is committed to ongoing self-monitoring for compliance. We voluntarily meet the guidelines of licensing, except in the area of providing lunches. King's Gate children bring their own lunches if they are with us during the lunch hour

COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Because of King’s Gate’s longevity (over 30 years), the metro area is overflowing with families and businesses who are affiliated with our school and who love to support the current King’s Gate students and their environment. During Community Helper week and other special events, the policemen and policewomen, firefighters, artists, musicians, etc. who come to share with our current students are often alumni or in the family of an alumnus. It is exciting to see the way King’s Gate is supported by the community as we gather items and underwriters for our annual auction and Amazing Race. The Woods, our 4 acre outdoor learning environment is continuously developing with the support of local businesses, Boy Scout troops, and the Our Lord’s youth groups and members. The King’s Gate network of community resources includes businesses, supporters, partnerships, volunteers, educators, and numerous professionals.
