1st-5th grades participate in corporate worship and are dismissed with a blessing every Sunday.

The kids aren't left out on Sunday morning when it comes to worship time. They have their own, special service while the adults and older children are in the main sanctuary. “Power Hour,” is an awesome time for kids, (1st - 5th grade), to learn and experience the “Power of Prayer”, “Power of Worship” and the “Power of Praise.” Following dismissal from the sanctuary, they will share and experience, the joy, and the privilege of coming before God in prayer with their praise and concerns, then singing which is lead by the kids, a Bible lesson and finally application time. The kids will be looking vertical rather than horizontal during worship.
Children and Worship
Children and Worship enables children 4 years old through Kindergarten to experience God, not just learn about Him. A special place is set apart for them to discover the meaning of worship, and the quiet place within themselves to listen and to talk with God. Trained leaders use a sensory-motor style of telling Bible stories as they wonder about the story together. Then the children personally respond, using various art media or working with three dimensional story figures.
Adventure Week 2009
